A Kohex product
Todis is designed, built and operated by Kohex, an independent French company registered in Besançon. The service is hosted in the European Union, and the full legal details (registration, hosting provider, personal data) are in the legal notice and the privacy policy.
Why "Todis"
The name comes from the Finnish todis, a casual way of saying "for real". That is the service's job, and nothing else: confirming that what a digital identity wallet shows is authentic, nothing more, nothing less.
How we work
Three principles hold the whole product. Never store: proofs pass through for the time of the verification and are neither kept, nor logged, nor reused. Follow the European standards at the source: eIDAS 2.0, OpenID4VP, SD-JWT VC, mdoc, so our customers do not have to. And say things as they are: the blog publishes what we learn while building the service, regulatory timelines and limitations included.
OpenID Foundation member
Kohex is a member of the OpenID Foundation, the organization that standardizes OpenID4VP and the protocols Todis relies on. A concrete way to follow these standards at the source, rather than discover them after the fact.
OpenID Certified™: OID4VP-1.0+HAIP-1.0
Kohex has certified that Todis verify-service (08-2026) conforms to the OID4VP-1.0+HAIP-1.0 Verifier sd_jwt_vc direct_post.jwt profile of the OpenID for Verifiable Presentations protocol, via the OpenID Foundation's official conformance suite. Certification published on August 14, 2026: see the official listing.
